This half term in Ladybird nursery our areas of focus will be Dragons, Princes' and Princess'.

The children will take part in lots of hands on and creative activities around this topic. There is always a huge focus on getting to know your children as individuals so we can best plan to follow children's interest. This means learning, topics and activities can change all the time!

PLAY DOUGH RECIPE

Ingredients:1 mug of salt, 2 mugs flour,1& 1/2 mugs water, 2 tablespoons Cream of Tatar, 2 tablespoons cooking oil, food colouring of choice. 
Method: Place the water, salt and oil into a pan and bring to the boil stir the salt around; it won't dissolve. Take from the heat and add the food colouring. Mix the flour and cream of Tatar together before mixing it in the pan with the other ingredients. Turn out onto a board and knead together adding a little more flour if needed. Keep in an air tight container.

Please remember that your child will need a named changing bag with a spare change of clothes and will need to have plenty of nappies, wipes and cremes if needed. They will also need a named water bottle. 

    Please write the children's names in their cardigans, jumpers, coats and on any other clothing.
