Pumpkin Week in Kaleidoscope

Date: 2nd Nov 2017 @ 11:06pm

We had great fun this week with our pumpkins.

We surveyed children in different classes to see how many thought a pumpkin could float and turned the information into a graph. (A pumpkin does float). We measured and weighed our pumpkin and made a fact file which included the life cycle.

We scooped out our pumpkins and described the activity using our senses and up levelled our vocabulary.

After carving our pumpkins we tried them out in the dark. They looked good but our photos didn't look quite so effective.

We  dried our seeds for art activities then had a Pumpkin Party to finish the week off. Our Skeleton Treasure Hunt  outside was a fun party game but we could only win a chocolate pumkin if we showed good team skills - we all won chocolate pumpkins!
